The conversion yacht, a former icebreaker, was purchased by her current German owners in 1991 and converted into a luxury passenger ship by the Dutch naval architects Kapteyn & Stromenger. Currently sailing under the Netherlands flag. This timeless ship has the potential to sail to any dream destination around the world. She has a capacity of 25 passengers on board. Now she sails in charter with 17 guests and 4-8 crew in the Med. The hull and the superstructure is made of steel, the deck is teak, the interior is made of cold moulded mahogany, giving her a timeless look.                     On the aft deck, right next to the helm, the bimini provides plenty of shade where you can enjoy exceptional dinners and be entertained by the stunning surrounding scenery. The galley is airy and fully equipped for professional cooks. A pass-through window can be opened to the comfortable dining areas in the saloon. Sir Robert’s sail plan is similar to that of the American Baltimore Clipper. It is not quite as extreme as the original models, the mast drop is lower, the main boom protrudes a little less over the stern and the schooner sail is guided on the boom. All this was done to make the ship easier and safer to operate together with the guests. Sir Robert has had extensive refits in 1999, 2012, 2016-2017, 2020-2021.<\/p>\n

                    The large and spacious cabins are decorated with classic dark wood and each comes with ensuite bathroom. These cabins contain a double berth bed and there is a top bunk being perfect for kids or to store the luggage. <\/p>\n
